Job summary

Harsco Rail, a division of Enviri Corporation, seeks a Driver Operator Maintainer to drive, operate and maintain OTM within NWR infrastructure and possessions. You will perform stone-loading, daily maintenance, calibration tasks, and ensure 5S standards, safety compliance, and accurate documentation.

Essential qualifications include track safety (PTS/DP), manual handling, emergency first aid, and health & safety awareness, plus basic IT skills.

Functional Skills at Level 2: communication, planning, organising, prioritising, safety awareness
Technical Skills: hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical systems; calibration and fault finding

Responsibilities

Report defects found on machine and carry out repairs within competency level
Complete tasks in accordance with the Vehicle Maintenance Instruction (VMI)
Assist Stoneblower Service Technician with required tasks
Carry out duties in line with company policies, procedures and work instructions
Ensure working environment is maintained to 5S standards
Inform supervisor of issues outside remit in a timely manner
Operate machine for maintenance purposes
Maintain regular contact with control centre and machine manager
Provide reports/information as required by machine manager & ROMs
Carry out risk assessments and comply with method statements
