Zusammenfassung

Harsco Rail is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs on the Stoneblower Fleet at depots worldwide, including the United Kingdom. The role requires hands-on servicing, fault finding and timely ordering of parts to ensure high availability and safety of rail infrastructure.

You will apply 5S practices, maintain maintenance documentation, and work closely with field service teams.

Qualifikationen

• Time-served apprenticeship or recognised mechanical/electrical/maintenance qualification.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and fault finding.
• IT literate with basic Microsoft skills.
• Calibration and understanding of rail plant operation.
• Competent in current maintenance standards.

Aufgaben

• Report defects and carry out repairs within required competency level or under instruction from field service engineer or supervisor.
• Ensure planned maintenance duties are completed in line with company policies and procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure working environment is maintained as required by 5S.
• Inform supervisor of any issues outside your remit.
• Operate machine for maintenance purposes, as required.
• Ensure documentation is updated and compliant with company policies.
