Job summary

Pure Talent Group in Horsham is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Train Mechanical Fitter. The role offers cross training into rail engineering with full training provided, based at the Horsham depot.

You will maintain Mobile Maintenance Trains, perform fault finding and routine servicing, and join a five-week roster with day and night shifts, including weekends, across the UK rail network.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering experience.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent practical experience).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong fault-finding ability.
• Willingness to work days, nights and weekends as part of the rota.
• Medical, DBS, and drug/alcohol screening where required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and servicing on Mobile Maintenance Trains.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Operate across day and night shifts, including weekends.
• Travel to support other depots and annual overhaul programme.
