Network Rail is seeking a capable technician ready to join a dynamic field team in Swindon. You’ll work outdoors in all weathers, leading and supporting routes maintenance with a focus on safety, efficiency and compliance.

Training is provided to develop both technical and non-technical competencies while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability. The role offers a clear career path and structured progression.

Formación

• Leadership: lead, motivate and direct a team for safe and efficient work delivery.
• Effective communicator: deliver clear instructions to team and colleagues.
• Technical skills: knowledge and experience of inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal techniques in the relevant discipline.
• Safety: model safe behaviours, implement safe systems of work and challenge unsafe situations.
• Problem solver: develop safe, effective solutions and stay up to date with standards.
• Willingness to learn: continuously develop skills with new standards and instructions.
• Driving licence (Category B) required to operate Network Rail vehicles.
