Job summary

Govia Thameslink Railway Ltd. is seeking an Infrastructure Service Engineer to maintain and improve critical depot infrastructure across London locations.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance to keep facilities, plant and equipment safe, reliable and operational. The role requires fault-finding across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plus the ability to read schematics and work across multiple depot locations.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding skills on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with plant equipment, machinery and building services.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Knowledge of AC/DC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, water and sewage systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across depot infrastructure.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
• Complete inspections, repairs, modifications, and safety checks.
• Supervise contractors when required.
• Produce accurate reports and maintenance records.
• Support the Team Leader and deputise when needed.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.
