Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Site Agent in Manchester to lead a major rail infrastructure project. You will manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure delivery to time, budget and quality standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will drive health and safety, programme management and cost control, while maintaining documentation and stakeholder communication across the project team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Agent in rail or major infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Network Rail standards advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication.
• Proven track record delivering on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations to deliver the project.
• Ensure works follow contract drawings and specs.
• Produce and review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
• Uphold health, safety and environmental standards on site.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor construction programmes.
• Maintain project records and reporting.
