Job summary
VVB Engineering is recruiting experienced Installation Electricians for long-term work on HS2 infrastructure projects across London. You will join a professional, safety-focused team delivering electrical installations on major rail and transport developments.
Candidates must hold a valid ECS/JIB Gold Card and 18th Edition, with proven installation experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure settings.
Qualifications
- ECS/JIB Gold Card and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification are required.
- Proven experience in electrical installation in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site documentation.
- Strong health, safety and environmental awareness on construction sites.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Installation of electrical containment systems, including trunking, basket, conduit, cable tray and ladder rack systems.
- Reading, interpreting and working from technical drawings and installation plans.
- Ensuring installations comply with current electrical regulations and project specifications.
- Collaborating with electricians, supervisors, site managers and other trades to meet programme deadlines.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site housekeeping.
