Job summary

Survey Solutions seeks an Operations Manager to lead rail and highways survey and engineering teams across multiple sites in the UK, delivering high-quality services to clients. The role combines project delivery, staff management, and business development with a strong focus on safety, processes, and client satisfaction.

Based in the UK with hybrid working options, you will coordinate resources, drive performance, and represent the company professionally with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading rail and highway project teams.
• Ability to manage budgets and timelines across multiple projects.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across rail and highways teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Allocate resources to meet changing priorities and project demands.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead, mentor and manage a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, health and safety procedures, and QA standards.
• Support tendering and proposal development with Project Manager.
• Manage holiday bookings, expenses, timesheets and performance appraisals.
