Chiltern Railways seeks a Skilled Service Staff to support the depot fleet across Class 165/168 DMUs, Mark III coaches, DVTs and Class 68 locomotives. The role covers planned and casualty maintenance, with a 24hr roster at Aylesbury Depot.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on production experience, electrical knowledge for rail systems, and a drive to improve reliability and efficiency of the fleet.

Qualifications

• ONC or higher in mechanical/electrical/electronic discipline.
• Good understanding of schematic diagrams and layouts.
• Able to gather and process information systematically.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, fault diagnose, repair and service fleet to standard procedures.
• Comply with depot maintenance schedules and technical instructions.
• Co-operate to improve productivity and maintenance efficiency.
• Follow Safe Working Instructions and health & safety rules.
• Keep documentation updated and review diagnostic downloads.
• Adhere to Network Rail rules & regulations and shift requirements.
