Job summary

Siemens Mobility Rail Electrification in the UK offers an apprenticeship aligned to the LEVEL 3, Installation and Maintenance standard. You will work from York or Birmingham, travel nationwide, and complete a 54-month programme with block releases and mentoring.

You must be 18+ by the start date of 13 August 2027, hold a Category B driving licence, and meet pre-employment medical colour-vision criteria. A permanent role awaits on successful completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: at least 5 passes including English, Science and Maths (Grade 4/C or higher).
• A full driving licence covering Category B or larger by start date.
• Must meet colour vision requirements in pre-employment medical.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership while collaborating with others.
• Willingness to travel nationwide on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Support projects across Siemens Mobility Rail Electrification teams.
• Engage with teams to learn and apply skills on real-world railway projects.
• Deliver a Business Impact Project and present achievements during apprenticeship.
