Job summary

Rullion Managed Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Rolling Stock Technician for a 12-month fixed term contract in London. The role focuses on MOD/maintenance and commissioning of electrical systems within a safety-critical rolling stock environment.

The successful candidate will modify, service, fault diagnose and repair electrical systems, while recording activities in the depot CMMS and adhering to engineering instructions and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 required.
• Experience in maintenance, overhaul, modification or production environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience using maintenance management systems.
• Excellent safety awareness in a regulated environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned electrical modifications, servicing, fault rectification and commissioning.
• Ensure work completed safely, efficiently and to high quality standards.
• Deliver rolling stock modification programmes in line with engineering instructions.
• Undertake installation, maintenance, servicing and repair activities.
• Support commissioning, testing and acceptance processes.
• Record maintenance activities in depot maintenance management system.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the depot.
• Work to strict safety and quality standards in a safety-critical environment.
