Job summary

Rullion Managed Services in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Electrical Rolling Stock Technician on a 12-month contract. You will carry out planned electrical modifications, maintenance, servicing and fault rectification, ensuring safety and quality throughout the depot environment.

Key duties include installation, commissioning support, fault diagnosis and recording activities in the depot CMMS. The role requires strong electrical skills, adherence to safety standards and the ability to work

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / engineering apprenticeship completed
• Experience in maintenance, overhaul, modification or production environments
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience using maintenance management systems

Responsibilities

• Delivering rolling stock modification programmes in line with engineering instructions

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am-5:00pm 50 Hours per Week Friday Hours Paid at Overtime Rate

We're recruiting for experienced Modification Technicians (Electrical Bias) to support a major rolling stock modification programme at a leading depot. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled team delivering critical upgrade, maintenance and commissioning activities across a modern train fleet.

The Role

You'll be responsible for carrying out planned electrical modifications, servicing, fault rectification and commissioning activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key duties include

• Delivering rolling stock modification programmes in line with engineering instructions.
• Undertaking installation, maintenance, servicing and repair activities.

What We're Looking For

• Engineering Apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), covering electrical engineering
• Experience working in maintenance, overhaul, modification or production environments
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience using maintenance management systems.
• Excellent safety awareness within a regulated engineering environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
