Job summary

Core Group is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to lead the electrical works on major rail projects, based in West London. You will oversee site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires proven experience in electrical construction management, strong rail project background, SMSTS/CSCS, and the ability to read drawings. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager / Electrical Project Manager / Electrical Site Manager.
• Strong commercial fit-out experience is essential.
• Rail project experience is also essential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and construction processes.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• SMSTS and CSCS/ECS qualifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical works from pre-construction through to completion.
• Lead electrical site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate electrical installations with other trades and project teams.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Manage progress, programme and site coordination.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and electrical standards.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover.
