Job summary

VolkerWessels UK, through VolkerFitzpatrick, seeks an ambitious Sub-Agent to lead drainage schemes within the Southern Renewals Enterprise. The role focuses on track drainage renewal and refurbishment, working with project teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery across Network Rail’s southern route.

The role can be based in Basingstoke or Gravesend and requires travel to sites across Kent, Wessex and Sussex.

Qualifications

Experience on civil engineering projects, ideally in a Rail environment.
Proven technical and project management abilities.
Sufficient experience in construction.
Knowledge of CDM regulations and safe systems of work.
CSCS, PTS, and CITB SMTS or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage delivery of drainage schemes within the Drainage portfolio, including track drainage renewal and refurbishment.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient delivery to high standards.
Travel to sites across Network Rail's southern route (Kent, Wessex & Sussex).
