TXM Recruit is seeking a Commercial Manager with rail experience for a 6-month contract. The role is hybrid, based in Soho, Northampton, and West Midlands, paying up to £500 per day outside IR35.

The candidate will manage cost reporting, contract administration, and NEC-based negotiations across multiple rail projects. Key duties include managing risks and opportunities, Close-out of projects, and ensuring timely financial close-out.

Qualifikationen

• Full working knowledge of web-based contract management tools (eg Cemar).
• Strong IT skills with good Excel proficiency.
• Thorough understanding of NEC suite of contracts and related contract administration/negotiations.
• Ability to read and interpret mathematical and financial reports.
• Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management.

• Perform periodic cost reporting: Anticipated Final Cost, Actual Cost of Work Performed, and Forecast to Completion.
• Manage contract communications: action lists, meeting minutes, Early Warnings, Instructions, and Compensation Events.
