Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd in Oxfordshire invites applications for a Site Agent to lead rail & civil works on a major station project. The role requires coordinating civil and railway construction activities with attention to safety, delivery schedules, and stakeholder liaison.

Key qualifications include experience as a Site Agent or Sub Agent for Tier 1/2 contractors, strong rail sector background, and SMSTS/CSCS credentials. PTS is a plus for project requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Sub Agent for Tier 1/2 civil eng contractors.
• Strong background in rail infra, railway stations, or major civil projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple construction activities.
• Good understanding of Network Rail standards and railway environments.
• SMSTS and CSCS qualifications.
• Temporary Works Coordinator experience is advantageous.
• PTS advantageous depending on project.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site operations across civil engineering and railway station works.
• Oversee subcontractors, engineers and site teams to ensure project delivery.
• Manage construction programmes, site resources and progress.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality standards compliance.
• Review RAMS, temporary works, permits and construction documentation.
• Liaise with Project Managers, commercial teams, designers and stakeholders.
• Monitor productivity and implement corrective actions.
