Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Sub Agent for Tier 1/2 civil eng contractors.
• Strong background in rail infra, railway stations, or major civil projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple construction activities.
• Good understanding of Network Rail standards and railway environments.
• SMSTS and CSCS qualifications.
• Temporary Works Coordinator experience is advantageous.
• PTS advantageous depending on project.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site operations across civil engineering and railway station works.
• Oversee subcontractors, engineers and site teams to ensure project delivery.
• Manage construction programmes, site resources and progress.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality standards compliance.
• Review RAMS, temporary works, permits and construction documentation.
• Liaise with Project Managers, commercial teams, designers and stakeholders.
• Monitor productivity and implement corrective actions.

Location: Oxfordshire

Rate: £500 per day (Umbrella PAYE)

Contract: 12 Months

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday | 5 Days On-Site

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor delivering a major railway station construction project in Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site operations across civil engineering and railway station construction works.
• Oversee subcontractors, engineers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage construction programmes, site resources and project progress.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Review RAMS, temporary works, permits and construction documentation.
• Liaise with Project Managers, commercial teams, designers and key stakeholders.
• Monitor productivity, identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
