Job summary

Foresight Search Ltd. is recruiting a Project Manager for Wales-based civil engineering projects, starting from mobilisation and moving through to handover. The role involves travel to sites across Wales and managing a programme from inception to completion.

The successful candidate will bring five+ years’ PM experience, strong NEC4 knowledge, effective client and subcontractor management, and proven leadership to drive projects safely, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience at Project Manager level.
• Strong civil engineering project experience.
• Good working knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
• Strong client management skills.
• Proven subcontractor management experience.
• Excellent programme, planning and organisational ability.
• Good commercial and contractual awareness.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects independently and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and delivery of civil engineering projects across Wales.
• Managing projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Leading and coordinating site teams and subcontractors.
• Managing client relationships and key project stakeholders.
• Subcontractor procurement, management and performance.
• Developing, monitoring and managing construction programmes.
• Managing project risk, change and early warnings.
• Monitoring progress, costs and overall project performance.
• Coordinating commercial, operational and technical teams.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and to required quality standards.
• Chairing client, subcontractor and project progress meetings.
• Providing regular project reporting to senior management.
• Driving successful project completion and handover.
