Job summary

Sphere Solutions has an exciting opportunity in Pontypridd for an experienced Project Manager to lead civil engineering and groundworks projects across South Wales. The role covers pre-construction through to delivery, with a hands-on approach and strong emphasis on planning, programming and client liaison.

You will work with local authorities and multiple stakeholders to ensure projects meet standards, budgets and timelines, while guiding site teams and managing risks and variations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering/groundworks.
• Experience delivering projects for local authorities/public sector.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and groundworks construction.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for civil and groundworks projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, consultants and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage detailed project programmes and milestones.
• Monitor progress, manage resources and mitigate delays.
• Prepare regular progress and client reports.
