Job summary

A leading logistics company in the UK is seeking a Team Member for their Breakdown & Recovery department. The role involves supporting the recovery of rail services and ensuring a safe working environment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. A full UK driving license is essential. Comprehensive training will be provided, along with a starting salary of £27,415 per annum and access to various benefits.

Qualifications

• You must possess a full UK driving licence with class 1 rating.
• Comfortable working both alone and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the supervisor in restoring rail services following incidents.
• Create a safe working environment in the depot and onsite.
• Manual handling of packing materials and jacking equipment.
• Undertake cutting/welding tasks as competence permits.
• Carry out maintenance to ensure equipment is safe.
• Work shifts covering a 24/7 period including weekends and bank holidays.
