We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Level 6 Signalling Technician Project Engineering Degree Apprentice to join our dynamic Eastern & Southern team.

Job Title: Signalling Technician Project Engineering Degree Apprentice – Level 6

Duration: 60 months

Starting Salary: £23,529 (subject to 2025 review)

The apprenticeship is a specifically designed and structured training programme developed by industry professionals with the Amey Rail, Signalling and Systems Group.

The specifically designed training programme will be a mix of hands-on practical training in a controlled environment, with experienced Engineers, training to understand signalling construction, testing, management and commercial activities.

What You’ll Bring:

Qualifications

• 3 x A-Levels at Grades A*-C including Mathematics and Physical Science or their equivalent, or will have completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship as an Engineering Technician
• Prepared to complete the necessary training requirements for Chartered Professional Review or Incorporated Professional Review or Incorporated Professional Review

Skills

• Full driving license or aiming to obtain it.
• Computer literate and thoroughly conversant with MS office suite
• Has the appropriate technical skills and ability to successfully work within technical teams with high levels of quality.
• Good communication skills, with ability to successfully work within a team, undertaking internal & external discussions with local clients and other stakeholders.
