Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Air Quality Consultant to lead technically challenging rail sector projects within the Air Quality team.

You will work on dispersion modelling with ADMS/ADMS-Roads, design monitoring plans, prepare technical reports and manage projects to budget and schedule. You will mentor junior staff, support the national air quality strategy, and liaise with clients, Local Authorities and government bodies on a range of national and regional

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific discipline is required; postgraduate environmental qualification preferred but not essential.
• Significant experience in an air quality consultancy or similar organisation.
• Excellent technical background and numerical skills; strong experience with ADMS/ADMS-Roads.

Responsibilities

• Dispersion modelling using ADMS and ADMS-Roads, with exposure to other software (Aermod, Calpuff).
• Design ambient air quality monitoring plans (passive and automatic).
• Prepare technical reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Manage projects to budget, programme and scope.
• Prepare bid submissions, quotes and tenders.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members.
• Support strategic direction of the regional/ national air quality team.
• Conduct detailed modelling and report reviews.
• Liaise with clients, Local Authorities, and government bodies.
