Job summary

Serco at RAF Brize Norton is seeking a Logistics Operative to ensure receipt, storage, and distribution of materials for the Royal Air Force. You will work across warehouse, storage, and on-site deliveries to support operational readiness and essential public services.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, basic IT skills, and the ability to obtain BPSS and Security Check clearance. The position offers competitive pay, pension, training courses, and hybrid working where possible.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category B driving licence.
• Experience in a supply chain or logistics environment.
• Team player delivering excellent customer service.
• Basic IT skills and ability to use computer systems.
• Ability to obtain BPSS and SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue stock, materials, and equipment to unit sections.
• Process deliveries from external contractors and internal unit sections.
• Maintain stock accuracy through storekeeping and stock control activities.
• Operate material handling equipment, including counterbalance forklifts where authorised.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain safe and efficient working areas.
• Support the movement and delivery of materials across the RAF Brize Norton site.
