Radiotherapy Equipment Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and dedicated Equipment Engineering Team within the Radiotherapy Physics Department, based at the Queen's Centre, Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an interest in pursuing a career in engineering. This entry-level post provides valuable hands-on experience in a specialist clinical environment and may offer a progression route to a degree apprenticeship within the team, subject to availability and eligibility criteria.
Please note: To qualify for a future apprenticeship opportunity, applicants must not already hold a degree or higher qualification in an engineering-related field.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will work under supervision to support the maintenance and servicing of complex medical equipment used in radiotherapy treatment. Duties include:
