Zusammenfassung

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an electronics engineer or technician to join the Radiotherapy Physics team. You will maintain radiotherapy equipment, perform QA checks, and support the mould room in patient immobilisation device fabrication.

No prior radiotherapy experience is required as training will be provided; graduates and HND/BTEC technicians are welcome. The role operates 06:45–14:45, Monday to Friday, with NHS benefits and career development

Qualifikationen

• HND or BTEC recognised technicians or graduates are welcome.
• Strong electronics or engineering background with problem solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn radiotherapy specific equipment and QA procedures.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and service all radiotherapy equipment.
• Fault find and carry out emergency repairs to all radiotherapy equipment.
• Perform safety and quality assurance checks on all radiotherapy equipment.
• Keep up to date records of all service work, repairs and QA checks.
• Liaise with Radiographer and Radiotherapy Physics staff on machine performance.
• Carry out routine QA checks and report results to senior staff.
• Assist with mould room fabrication and patient immobilisation devices.
