The Radiology Department is seeking enthusiastic new staff to join the Radiology Portering team. We are a dedicated imaging team committed to providing a first-class service to patients and clinical users.
We operate a busy department, working 12-hour shifts across 7 days per week. The successful candidates will be required to work evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.
The role involves transporting patients from various hospital areas to different Radiology departments. Responsibilities also include mortuary transfers, using a dedicated van, and liaising with ward/radiographic staff to ensure safe patient transfer, including handling equipment like drip stands, infusion pumps, chest drains, and personal belongings.
Maintaining patient privacy and dignity at all times, demonstrating care and compassion, are essential aspects of the role.
