Join the Radiology Department as a Porter at a leading UK hospital. The role requires strong communication skills and physical capability to assist in patient transfers and departmental errands. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive healthcare team focused on patient care and staff wellbeing.
Applications are invited from suitable candidates who wish to join the Radiology Department in the position of Porter. We work around a 7-day week and extended working hours (8am – 6am). We have several posts available.
The department team consists of a mix of full-time and part-time porters. Vacancies in this area are rare, and this is an excellent opportunity to join our friendly team of porters and radiographic staff.
Applicants must have good communication skills, should be neatly presented, and should be willing to work as part of a team. The role is very physical and involves manual handling and patient moving tasks.
Previous experience of working with the public and in a hospital setting is preferable.
