Job summary

Bolton Foundation Trust's Radiology department at Royal Bolton Hospital invites a motivated registered nurse to join an innovative, patient-focused pro-active team and develop new skills within interventional radiology.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential. The role offers development opportunities and access to Vivup discounts, with emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients undergoing interventional procedures.
• Scrub for Radiologists and Advanced Practitioners performing interventional procedures.
• Provide patient care and support.
• Assist with stock management and supplies.
• Assist with cleaning and decontamination duties.
• Schedule and book patients for interventional procedures.

Whilst previous experience in supporting clinicians undertaking procedures is desirable, it is not essential. Your development is our priority and we will support you as you get to grips with our state-of-the-art technology and equipment, and wide range of procedures that are undertaken in radiology, such as Vascular Angiography/angioplasty and stenting, Embolisation, Hysterosalpingogram (HSG), Nephrostomy,Ultrasound and CT biopsy and drainages.
