Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is recruiting Senior Nursing Assistants at Band 3 to support the Imaging Service. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and progress to Band 3 competencies within six months after completing required skills, starting at a Band 2 salary.

The role involves clinical tasks under supervision, patient-focused care, and collaboration with radiology staff to maintain high standards and efficient throughput.

Qualifications

• Basic Numeracy and Literacy skills (English and Maths GCSEs or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 2
• NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent or willing to work towards undertake training to level 3
• Basic computer Skills

Responsibilities

• Support registered nursing staff and ODPs to ensure smooth department operation
• Be adequately supported by Departmental Manager and senior staff
• Assist in achieving competencies and undertake clinical tasks under supervision
