Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is recruiting a part-time Radiology Administration Assistant to join the Radiology Department reception team. You will handle patient and staff enquiries face-to-face and by phone, and register patients on the RIS system.

The role requires strong IT skills, excellent communication, and accurate data input. 22.5 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 08:00–17:00, with occasional cover at Coventry & Warwickshire sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient-facing reception or equivalent.
• Strong IT literacy with MS Office.
• Experience using hospital IT systems is preferred.
• Ability to input patient data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for patients and visitors.
• Book patients for appointments.
• Process referrals in line with Departmental guidelines.
• Maintain an efficient administrative service including photocopying and support to department staff.
• Utilise Trust IT systems and ensure accurate data input in line with guidelines.
• Maintain manual and electronic filing systems and archive documents.
• Provide cover for other team members as needed.
• Support service improvement initiatives.
