Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is actively hiring Radiologic Technologists (X-Ray Technologists, Radiographers) to join one of the largest medical practices in New England with multiple locations throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island. We consist of a team of professionals ranging from Medical Assistants to Physician Assistants and everything in between. Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist, Radiographer) operates equipment and performs radiologic procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment. The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiography studies by following established protocols and selecting correct exposure factors. The Radiologic Technologist utilizes patient assessment based on age and diagnosis to produce high-quality radiographs to assist radiologists in diagnosis.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Tech program preferred

Licensure:

• Current CT Radiographer License required
• CPR validation within 3 months of hire
