Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring for a Radiologic Technologist to work at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center located in Norfolk, VA. This is a full-time 40-hour per week position. Generous sign-on bonus and moving allowance available.
1st Shift
Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician. Responsibilities include patient positioning, operation of radiation equipment and electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient rooms and supplies, and maintaining inventory. Explains procedures to patients and completes documentation. Will consider registry-eligible graduates who must be registered within 180 days of hire.

Located in Norfolk, VA, this 525-bed tertiary care facility is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads. It serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School. The hospital offers specialized services including heart and vascular, neurosciences, neurosurgery, urology, oncology, spine care, advanced imaging, behavioral health, maternity, and women’s health, with a state-of-the-art neonatal ICU.
