The MRI department currently consists of nine MRI scanners, with locations on the NNUH site, Cromer District Hospital, and the Community Diagnostic Centre. The department supports research initiatives in collaboration with the University of East Anglia and other research groups, emphasizing high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient safety.
The role involves working 12.5-hour shifts, including bank holidays and weekends, with an on-call MRI service. The successful candidate will contribute to training staff and students, manage departmental workflows, and perform MRI examinations, including patient care and contrast media administration.
