Job summary

Our client, a prominent organisation within the defence sector, is seeking a talented Radiographer (Industrial - Welds) to join their Weapon Systems UK team for a contract role in Sheffield. This is a crucial position that plays a key part in ensuring the integrity and quality of critical welds on defence equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic inspections on welds and other components according to defined standards and procedures.
  • Interpret and evaluate radiographic images to ensure compliance with safety and quality specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of inspections.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and rectify any identified issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain and calibrate radiography equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as required.
