Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking an E&I Technician at the Sellafield site, Cumbria. You will repair, maintain, calibrate and test radiation protection instruments to meet demanding safety and regulatory standards.

Join a team delivering critical energy and defense decommissioning projects with strong emphasis on safety, quality and professional development. This permanent role offers 37 hours per week on site.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing electronic instrument systems in regulated environments.
• Knowledge and understanding of conventional and nuclear safety.
• Level 3 Electrical Qualification and apprenticeship-style training.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, calibrate and test radiation protection instruments to meet customer work demands.
• Maintain instructions and record information accurately.
• Conform to local procedures, rules and working practices to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Provide technical advice and updates on work progress to customers as required.
• Mentor other team members, including apprentices and new entrants, to uphold standards.
