Job summary

Saab UK is expanding in Fareham and seeks an Inspection & Test Technician to support radar and sensor activities at our Fareham office. You will inspect produced items, test units and the G1X radar, and collaborate with the Production team to meet quality and delivery goals.

The role requires 3–5 years in inspection, testing and measurement, IPC class 3 experience, and proficiency with test equipment. UK/Swedish citizenship is required due to security clearances; occasional training trips to

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum experience in inspection, testing and measurement.
• Capable of inspecting to IPC class 3 standard.
• Familiar with test and measurement equipment used in radar or electronic systems.
• Proficient with multimeters and oscilloscopes; understand analogue and digital principles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect produced items and units, test functionality of the G1X radar and sub-assemblies.
• Follow documented processes and record results to quality standards.
• Support training of colleagues and share knowledge where possible.
• Understand and interpret electrical drawings and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships across teams to meet production goals.
