Job summary

Saab UK Ltd in Fareham is seeking an Inspection & Test Technician to support radar and sensors activities. You will inspect produced items, test units, and help with training within the Test & Inspection team. The role may involve occasional trips to Sweden for training and knowledge transfer.

The position requires 3-5 years in inspection and testing, familiarity with multi-meters and oscilloscopes, and the ability to read electrical drawings. UK/Swedish citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience in inspection, testing and measurement.
• Capable of inspecting to IPC class 3 standard.
• Familiar with standard test and measurement equipment used in radar or electronic warfare systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Inspection & Test Team Leader to achieve production goals.
• Ensure soldering and electrical loom work meets standards.
• Test functionality of produced units and sub-assemblies.
• Interpret electrical drawings and follow documented processes.
