Job summary

Saab UK is expanding its radar and sensor capabilities at Fareham. The RF Inspection & Test Technician will inspect produced items and test units, including the G1X radar, ensuring conformance to specifications within the Production & Test team.

You will use standard test equipment, interpret electrical drawings, and collaborate with Swedish colleagues on projects. Some travel to Sweden for training may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of RF experience in radar environments.
• Able to interpret electrical drawings.
• Excellent technical communication and teamwork.
• UK or Swedish citizenship due to security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect produced items and test units per procedures.
• Test radar systems and conduct performance evaluations.
• Liaise with Swedish colleagues via Teams or email.
• Follow documented processes and record results.
• Maintain IT systems and support knowledge transfer.
