Job summary

Saab UK Ltd. is expanding its radar and sensor activities in Fareham and seeks an RF Inspection & Test Technician to join the Production department, within the Test & Inspection team. The role focuses on the G1X radar, with some travel to Sweden for training and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years RF experience with troubleshooting.
• Experience with standard test and measurement equipment used in radar/electronic systems.
• Ability to work in a production environment and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Inspection & Test Team Leader to achieve production goals.
• Carry out soldering and electrical work to a high standard following procedures.
• Test functionality of produced units and sub-assemblies.
• Maintain IT systems and document results.
• Interpret electrical drawings and follow documented processes.
