Job summary

Coretech Talent Limited t/a Core Search is seeking a CAM Programmer for a leading UK sheet metal fabrication team. You will produce flat pattern programs for an Amada AE 2510 punch, converting 2D/3D designs into production-ready files using Radan for bespoke and standard products.

The office-based role reports to the Operations Director and offers a competitive salary, pension and holiday entitlement, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Radan programming, nesting and tooling.
• Solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication and sheet utilisation.
• Experience with Amada punch layouts is a distinct advantage.
• Good reading of engineering drawings and translating them into programs.

Responsibilities

• Program, nest and tool flat pattern parts using Radan.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to create accurate programs.
• Meet production timescales and deadlines.
• Check your work before issuing to manufacture.
• Report defects or issues to the line manager.
