Job summary

Core Search is recruiting a CAM Programmer for a well-established sheet metal fabrication team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on producing flat pattern programs for an Amada AE 2510 punch using Radan, converting 2D and 3D designs into production-ready programs.

You will read drawings, nest and tool parts, and work to production timescales and deadlines. Excellent knowledge of Radan and sheet metal fabrication is essential; Amada punch layouts are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Radan programming, nesting and tooling.
• Understanding of sheet metal fabrication and sheet utilisation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and translate to programs.

Responsibilities

• Program, nest and tool flat pattern parts in Radan.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to translate designs into programs.
• Meet production timescales and deadlines.
• Check own work before issuing to manufacture.
• Report defects to line manager.
