The Sun is the UK’s biggest-selling newspaper, with a Sport team that leads the way with exclusive stories, up-to-the-minute news, sharp columnists, and must-read features.

The Super Sun Racing team creates industry-leading content daily, both online and in print. We are proud to break stories, provide timely news, and produce the top-rated supplement, The Favourite, every Saturday and during major racing festivals.

Your Role:

Sub Editor for our print edition, responsible for attracting new fans and engaging seasoned followers. You should be passionate and knowledgeable about racing, eager to work within the team, and assist with designing racing content and pullouts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, sub-editing, planning, and writing the daily Favourite pullout.
• Work on editorial content and daily cards using InDesign.
• Write and edit for the online team when needed.
• Source stories by attending races, visiting yards, and speaking with trainers, jockeys, and owners—your initiative shapes your role.

• Proficiency in InDesign is a plus.

• Office-based with one day a week working from home.
