Job summary

The Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking a Garage Technician to maintain and prepare the garage and equipment for race events, both trackside and at the factory. The role demands technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist the race team during events with tyre prep, refueling, tool management, and safety compliance, while ensuring inventory is stocked and records are kept.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Automotive Technology or related field.
• Proven motorsport or automotive experience.
• Strong tools knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organisation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with garage setup and teardown at events.
• Provide technical assistance to race team during events.
• Inspect, maintain and repair tools and equipment.
• Manage inventory and restock parts as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Record maintenance and incidents accurately.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations.
