Northumberland College seeks a Lecturer & Programme Leader for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RACHP) to deliver high‑quality teaching on RACHP programs and lead curriculum development at a new campus. The role combines classroom instruction with leadership across related courses.

You will guide learners, mentor staff, and contribute to industry-aligned teaching while supporting progression routes and employer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven industry experience in RACHP.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant industry subject; English & Maths Level 2; Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training or commitment to complete; Level 3 Assessor qualification or commitment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver RACHP lessons to a range of learners.
• Develop and update curriculum materials to meet industry standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in practical sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and resources.
• Support learners in achieving qualifications and career goals.
