Job summary

Williams F1 Team is seeking a Kit Manager to coordinate end-to-end kit procurement, inventory, and distribution for Grove and London locations, with travel to races and events as required. The role supports the Head of Merchandising and line-manages Kit Coordinators to maintain top-brand presentation.

The position requires strong organisational skills, supplier management experience, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced motorsport environment with regular travel.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in kit management, ideally within sport, events, or a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Experience managing or supervising others, with ability to direct and develop a direct report.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail around stock accuracy, sizing, and presentation standards.
  • Experience working with suppliers and managing procurement processes.
  • Willingness to travel for race weekends and events.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full procurement cycle for all team kit from brief to delivery, coordinating with apparel suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, delivery timelines, and cost targets.
  • Maintain supplier/product matrix, tracking lead times, SKUs, and pricing.
  • Oversee the operating partner for pick, pack, and distribution, with clear performance expectations.
  • Prepare, pack, and ship kit ahead of race weekends, tests, and events.
  • Line-manage the Team Kit Coordinators and support their development.
  • Ensure kit compliance with Williams Racing brand guidelines and partner visibility requirements.
