A global leader in sustainable technologies is seeking a Deputy Team Leader for their Maintenance Team in Bassingbourn cum Kneesworth. In this role, you will supervise and mentor a skilled team while ensuring effective and timely maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will hold a formal qualification in Engineering and have experience in team management and Lean initiatives. The position supports hybrid work arrangements and offers competitive benefits including a retirement savings plan and health assessments.
As the Deputy Team Leader, you will work within the Maintenance Team and report to the Maintenance Team Leader, supporting the daily run of a team of 10-15 multi‑skilled technicians. The role is split between conducting preventative and reactive maintenance alongside supervising the team to ensure effective, timely provision of quality services. The remainder of your time will focus on leadership responsibilities, such as developing and mentoring team members and maximizing efficient use of resources.
