Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is expanding its Clinical Informatics team in the UK. We seek qualified individuals to support data analytics, visualization, and accessible data products, collaborating with Clinical Operation teams and software engineers.

You will evaluate data needs, build Shiny apps, contribute to R package development, and help design dashboards with PowerBI/Tableau/Spotfire. A programming assessment will be included in interviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in informatics or related field.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects on a sprint schedule.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Programming experience in R.
  • Work experience with clinical data.
  • Experience building dashboards (PowerBI/Tableau/Spotfire) or web apps (Shiny/Streamlit).

Job description

Job Summary :

the company is expanding a new Clinical Informatics team and is looking for qualified individuals to support this initiative. Our programmers work directly with Clinical Operation teams to identify needs and establish solutions spanning data analytics, visualization, and accessibility. Programmers will be trained to evaluate study protocols and work collaboratively with Clinical Trial Managers to develop and validate data products that increase operational efficiency. Programmers will support both custom- and enterprise-wide solutions as they work hand-in-hand with our software engineering teams.

Responsibilities :
  • Evaluate data needs for assigned projects and make recommendations on strategic approach specific to the study design;
  • Work alongside operational and medical leads to contribute innovative data products (primarily Shiny applications);
  • Contribute to internal R package development for efficient cross-departmental programming practices;
  • Interact with relational data at both study- and enterprise-level inclusive of actions for query, wrangling, analysis, and reporting;
  • Innovate algorithms to describe, classify, and predict operational outcomes of clinical trials; and
  • Support departmental process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s in informatics, computer science/engineering, biomedical engineering, health information, statistics, or related field;
  • Analytical thinker with great attention to detail;
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects on a sprint schedule;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills;
  • Programming experience in R;
  • Work experience with clinical data;
  • Experience building web applications is preferred (with either Shiny or Streamlit); and
  • Experience building dashboards is preferred (with either PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire).
