Job summary

Edwards Vacuum seeks an Engineering Tools, Capability Manager to develop and deploy software-enabled engineering capabilities. You will bridge engineering, IT and vendors to deliver scalable solutions that improve R&D performance, quality and cost.

Hybrid work model and global collaboration form the core of the role. You will drive toolchains, governance and continuous improvement across the R&D lifecycle, with accountability for efficiency and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in engineering/R&D environments.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into digital solutions.
• Experience implementing or managing engineering software tools or toolchains.
• Ability to translate needs into practical digital solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and prioritisation skills.
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and data considerations.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the engineering tools and digital capability roadmap.
• Own and optimise the engineering software ecosystem, standardising tools and integrations.
• Lead selection, implementation and adoption of engineering tools with stakeholders.
• Establish governance, standards and best practices for lifecycle management, security and compliance.
• Drive innovation using emerging technologies to enhance engineering performance.
