Job summary

Kensa is recruiting in Chacewater near Truro for a 12-month fixed-term, full-time engineering role focused on practical R&D testing and maintenance of testing equipment. You will build simple test rigs, diagnose faults, and work with R&D to align plans with project needs.

The position emphasizes hands-on skills with electro-mechanical systems, tool use, and attention to detail. The package includes leave, career development support, private healthcare after year one, and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a careful approach to testing and practical work.
• Ability to grasp new concepts and apply them in practice.
• An organised, orderly approach to work and workspace.
• Practical skills and confidence using hand tools.

• Brazing and soldering experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing
