About the role

We are looking to recruit a talented R&D Tax Manager to join our expanding Corporate Tax team. This role offers the opportunity to work with and advise clients on our R&D Tax Relief services.

Description

This position provides a clear progression path and allows you to develop your expertise through diverse assignments within a full-service accounting, tax, and advisory firm. You should be passionate about delivering excellent client service and enjoy working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify R&D tax relief opportunities for clients based on their innovation activities.
• Collaborate with tax specialists to prepare R&D claim reports for HMRC.
• Act as a key contact for R&D Tax Advisory services, coaching colleagues and promoting services.
• Lead training and development within the tax team.
• Participate in broader tax advisory and compliance services.
• Shape responsibilities based on your experience and career goals.
• Contribute to the growth of Bishop Fleming's R&D Tax Services.

About You

• Proven experience in delivering R&D Tax Relief claims of varying complexity, ideally in a full-service accountancy or specialist R&D practice.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• People management experience, including coaching and team development.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• ACA or CTA qualified.
• Enthusiasm to help develop the firm’s R&D Tax Services.
• Additional accounting, tax compliance, or advisory experience is beneficial.
